What happens at your appointment?
1. Talk about your skin
Your first appointment is a 15-minute nurse-led consultation. We review your concerns, health and previous treatment history, and assess the area you would like to address.
2. Understand your options
Your nurse explains the preparation choices, treatment plan, expected downtime and cost. You do not need to arrive knowing which platelet system you want.
3. Choose your next step
If you proceed, a blood sample is collected and processed in clinic to prepare the agreed platelet material. The preparation is used in the selected treatment area according to your plan. Skin Needling can be included where appropriate.
Treatment can take place during the same appointment where clinically suitable. There is no obligation to proceed. Your nurse provides aftercare guidance and discusses follow-up.

Pricing: skin and under-eye treatments
Your consultation is 15 minutes and complimentary, with a $50 booking deposit. It is refunded at the appointment to the same card used for booking, or credited toward treatment that day if you proceed. At least 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellation or a no-show forfeits the deposit, which is not refundable or redeemable. Same-day treatment depends on suitability and availability.
How many treatments will I need?
Your nurse may recommend a course of sessions followed by maintenance. The number and spacing are discussed according to your goals, treatment area and response, with a clear point to review progress.
There is no single schedule for every person or treatment area. Platelet concentration alone does not determine your result or the number of visits.
How PRP and PRF work
PRP stands for platelet-rich plasma. PRF stands for platelet-rich fibrin. Both are autologous preparations: they are derived from your own blood.
Platelets contain growth factors involved in normal tissue-repair processes. Processing a blood sample prepares selected components for use in the treatment area. PRF forms a fibrin network as it clots, giving it different structural and handling characteristics from PRP.
These platelet-based regenerative treatments are planned around the area and concerns being assessed. The preparation method helps explain the treatment; it does not predict an individual result.
What platelet concentration tells you
Concentration describes how many platelets are present in a given volume. Processing method, final preparation volume and other cellular characteristics also matter when comparing systems.

Before treatment
Tell your nurse about health conditions, medicines and previous treatments, including treatments in or near the area you want to address. Your nurse explains any preparation needed for your chosen plan.
If you hope to have treatment at your first consultation, contact us beforehand to discuss the appointment. Same-day treatment depends on suitability and the agreed plan.
Suitability, downtime and aftercare
Temporary redness, swelling, tenderness, sensitivity or bruising can occur. Your nurse explains the expected downtime and provides aftercare specific to the preparation and area treated.
Under-eye treatment requires particular care because of the delicate skin and anatomy. Suitability and bruising risk are discussed before you decide to proceed.
Using your own blood does not make treatment suitable for everyone or remove treatment risks. Some health conditions and medicines mean platelet treatment is inappropriate, and medical clearance may be needed.
Your plan should have realistic expectations. Platelet treatment does not guarantee the removal of dark circles, correction of hollows, a lifting effect or a particular change in skin quality.

Is ACP MAX PRF?
No. ACP MAX is a PRP preparation system. Standard PRF is a separate fibrin-based preparation.
What is the difference between PRP and PRF for the face?
Both are prepared from your own blood. PRP is platelet-rich plasma. PRF forms a fibrin network as it clots. Your nurse explains their differences and discusses which preparation is appropriate for your treatment area.

Why does platelet concentration matter?
Concentration describes one aspect of the preparation. It helps explain differences between systems alongside processing method, preparation volume and other cellular characteristics.
Does a higher platelet concentration change the result?
Concentration alone does not determine the result. Treatment area, suitability, technique and individual response also matter.
Can PRP or PRF be combined with Skin Needling?
