Skin needling is commonly used for acne scarring, fine lines, enlarged pores, uneven texture and mild pigmentation. Your nurse will assess your skin and confirm suitability during your consultation.
Some redness and mild sensitivity for 24 to 48 hours is normal, similar to mild sunburn. Most clients return to normal activities the next day.
A test patch checks how your specific skin and ink respond to the laser before we commit to a full treatment plan. It also lets us confirm the correct size and settings for your tattoo, which we finalise together in clinic.
Book whichever size measurement looks closest to your tattoo. If it needs adjusting once we see it in person, we will sort that out with you at your test patch appointment, so do not worry about getting it exactly right when booking.

Redness and swelling for several days, followed by peeling and flaking for around a week as your skin renews itself. Most clients plan for about a week away from major events or heavy makeup.
For an occasional glow, once every few weeks is plenty. For ongoing congestion or oiliness, a course every 2 to 4 weeks is commonly recommended, and there is no downtime either way.
